ENTRE (BETWEEN) WAS CREATED DURING MY DISTILLERY ARTIST RESIDENCY AT THE BREW HOUSE ART, PITTSBURGH, PA IN 2022-2023
Entre (Between) features a 2'×480' film strip with 240 family portraits reflecting the importance of heritage for my identity. The shadows cast by overhead lighting explore the ephemeral nature of life and memory.
As an immigrant mother, I often wonder how much my family history shapes both my character and my daughters'.
